My Appt today kinda sad.

Hey ladies I thought I would give you guys and update on my RE appt. Well it turns out my blood work shows I did not Ovulate this month. My progesterone level was 1.5 which is not very high so I go for blood work again in 3 weeks and then back to the RE's in 4 weeks and she said she will probably be putting me on Femara not this cycle but next cycle. So she thinks I may be anovulatory. I am a little dissapointed because my bbt said I did ovulate. My Re said that BBt charting is very unpredictable and I might as well not even do it because it is an added stress. So when I go for my blood work in 3 weeks she will be testing my Progesterone and my TSH to see if maybe I have a thyroid problem. I'm kinda sad that I have to wait a whole month again to get some answers but all good things in life are worth waiting for i guess. On a good note I got my opk's I ordered online today. I got 100 of them lol. So I am becoming a PAOS addict.

Hi nikki sorry to hear about your visit to the doctors, am new to all this but why you have said you have blood test's do you have that once a month to see if you ovulate ?, does that mean that ovulation test strips are usueless ?, am new to all this just starting appointments etc, can i ask when you first visited the doctors ? why they not done thyroid tests or cysts endo tests yet ?

nikki, this is good news. sort of... at least you know what the problem is. now you can work on a plan to fix it.

maybe your ff chart is showing your body wants to ovulate its just not completely doing so? could that be true?
waiting is horrible,. thats one of the crap things about ttc. its all in one month increments. something doesnt work one month you have to wait until the next month. if u miss a day you have to wait..

Maybe your progesterone levels are low in the first place, and your body is trying to ovulate? I dunno. I'd usually recommend progesterone cream, but I wouldn't want you to start using it and then it give you false info on your tests. good luck, though, I know what you mean about waiting...it does suck :(

OH NICKY SWEETIE, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR APPT TO THE DOCS, BUT LIKE JENNEE SAYS AT LEAST THEY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS NOW,AND THEY CAN CURE THAT PROBLEM WITH A LITTLE HELP OF SOME MEDICATION. I KNOW A MONTH SEEMS LIKE A LIFE TIME AWAY AT THE MOMENT, BUT YOU WILL GET THERE AND HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS YOU TRULY DO DESERVE.
