About Me:
I'm 26 years old and have a daughter who is 8, I'm getting married in Cuba September 7th 2009 to my fiancee who is 27.

We have female factor secondary infertility as 1 of my fallopian tubes are blocked, the other is stuck to my abdominal wall. ( it was previously thought thatr they were both blocked but this is not the case now) i also have adhesions on my uterus and covering one of my ovaries.

we are currently waiting to have lap done to free up my one tube which is open


i have epilepsy
fertility/pregnancy history
We have been ttc#2 for 3 years with no success
we have tubal factor secondary infertility

had a lap 7th april 09

having operative lap 28th july to free up open tube from adhesions

IVF only option now

hi all havent been around for a while as i have had lots to think about.
me and my dh have now been told that i have bilateral hydrosalpinges which is fluid inside the tubes. Our only option now is ivf. we have decided to go for ivf and are waiting a referral letter for birminghams womans hospital assisted conception unit. we have to pay privatly as we have a child already

Lap Results *updated*

hi all

just thought id let you all know that my lap was a disaster as it discovered that both my tubes were blocked not just the one, and my left ovary is buried in adhesions also part of my uterus as well. i am now waiting for an appointment to come through so we can discuss our options.

yes i am devastated but this is by no means the end for us as we will keep ttc no matter what even if it ivf although we would have to save first

I'm Allowed the lap

Hi all

for those of you that dont know me

i have epilepsy and have been waiting 7 months to be given the go ahead for a laparoscopy operation to try to remove adhesions and see what going on inside my reproductive organs. well it has been confirmed two weeks ago that i was given the ok to have it done. anyway found out it will be being done on tuesday 7th april 09 11.30.

Mri scan

well as you know i had a mri scan done on the 4th december and i'm very pleased to say i got the results and everything is normal. So one scan down, one more scan results to come and hopefully i should know whether i can have my lap yay!!

I forgot to say congrats on the wedding hope you both had a brilliant time, spring will be here before you know it and the ivf can start me and dh have rotten colds at the mo hoping it clears up soon cos it's driving us nuts lol not to mention aggravating my asthma and his migraines

Glad you had a great b'day, Nah hubby not had swine thankfully he suffers with severe migraines and has them alot during the summer, I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for our bfp's in august it'd be nice to get a + for our 6th anniversary so heres hoping but we're trying to no try if you know what i mean

glad you had a nice b'day and had loads of cards n pressies especially the one off your doc lol

Hubby is feeling better today it's nice to see him out of the dark and with some colour in his face I hate when he's ill I feel so useless cos of not being able to help him other then plenty of drinks and cold flannels and eye masks, he went to the dr's the other day and they still have no idea whats causing the migraines :( we're hopefull that they will one day, we're hoping that the weather gets better this weekend to we can get out and do something together.

Hey chick, bbq didn't happen in the end cos guess what it rained lol, They did some party food insteadand had a house party so still had a gd time, hope the weathers nice so you do get the chance to have a bbq for ya b'day have a happy one chick,
The days do seem to be dragging at the mo this miserable weathers not helping though not been able to go do any work in the garden for a few days now, Hubbys still not feeling gd his migraines are getting worse than ever he's laying in the dark again at the mo having taken more pain killers, try not to count the days too much chick they might go faster that way... hey who knows it might be worth a shot lol. anyways enough of me blabbering on again take care, speak soon

hey hunni, yeah we will be proud when it's all done just wish the rain would stop so we can finish it damn this british weather lol, good to hear you haven't got to wait too long for you next lap appointment, I'm trying to remain positive the best I can, doing the cross stitch really is taking my mind off it, it's also helping me to stop nibbling on junk lol, Hubbys still not feeling 100% he suffers with severe migraines and gets them on a daily basis at the moment dr's are trying to find the cause of them which seems to be taking them forever he'll be ok it's just hard knowing all i can do is keep giving him drinks doing his lunch and dinner and getting him cold cloths while he lays in the dark,
we're thinking of taking a break from ttc for abit so we can have some summer fun before the summer runs out lol, we're going to a bbq tomorrow for a friends b'day so going to have a few drinks and relax not that hubby will be able to drink much at the mo but it'll get him out the flat for a while

Hey de, I'm well chick keeping myself busy with doing some cross stitch and looking after hubby cos he's not well at the mo, we've also been working on our bit of Garden to the flat trying to kill weeds and sort out grass over grow so hopefully next year we can put alot of flowers in to pretty it up we're doing it with a neighbour so we can all take advantage in the summer and sit out in the sun, it's taking my mind off ttc keeping busy so fingers crossed it'll happen soon.
good news for you chick hope all goes well with your next lap and with sorting out the adhesions ect....... keep us updated with how the lap ect goes chick
