Hi, I posted my story and intro in the "Say hello here" category. I am 45 and 22 weeks pregnant and wanted to give some encouragement. Thanks

The site is only a couple ofmonths old so hopefully more people will be joining us soon

Have you ever considered assisted conception? ie ivf? Has your husband ever had a fertility test

I am glad you have started this forum, I am still working out how to get round this site, hopefully by the time I do there will be more people in this over 40 room.
I shall start off by saying that I first wanted babies when I was 15 and my school friend got pregnant, she was only 14 and got sent away to a mother and baby home until after the baby was born.
I have had several (what I call near misses) where I am a few weeks late, I cannot bring myself to do a test until it ends up too late. But things are going to change with me now, I am going to do home tests every time I am a week late from now on, partly because I am scared of it being the menopause and partly because I am getting on a bit now.
I have been tested for the menopause last year and I was o.k it was my thyroid gland not working (phew).

Hi Patricia, I think this is a better way of discussing things, rather than commenting on each others wall!
